We recently had to make that long journey but from Fort Benning. To add insult to injury we filed for an eviction on Monday the 19th only to get an email from our deadbeat renter informing us that they had moved out on the 15th. Now keep in mind we'd been by the house a few times but noticed several of their things still on the property and with all the blinds closed could not tell anyone had moved anything out of the house. We are at a loss as to where to go from here. Can we file a judgement against her now for the two months rent she didn't pay or do we have to wait a certain amount of time after filing the eviction? We have had some really bad tenants in the past but this time around rented to a Realtor thinking we'd have better luck....she has been the worst one yet!!
